Frequently
Asked Questions:
What
are the goals of the procedure?
Long term impediment of
hair regrowth in treated areas.
What is the typical EpiLight
treatment plan?
Each patient's first appointment is for
evaluation and test patches to determine their individual treatment parameters. Each
additional appointment for treatment lasts from 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the
area of the body being treated. Appointments are scheduled 4-6 weeks apart to allow the
hairs to cycle into the correct phase for treatment.
What can I expect after each
treatment?
Many patients have areas of redness and
slight swelling around the base of each hair. This usually subsides in 4-6 hours. Treated
hairs will begin to fall out 2-3 weeks after each treatment. |
