Surgery Center, we provide a variety of breast surgery options that yield more shapely
breasts that are in better proportion with the rest of your body. Breast surgery can
provide you with a new, more balanced appearance while improving your self-confidence.

Breast Augmentation/Enlargement
Breast augmentation surgery inserts an implant behind the breast, increasing your
bustline by one or more bra cup sizes, or correcting an imbalance in the size of your
breasts that may exist naturally or result from breast surgery for cancer.
Breast Implant Removal
Because of recent issues concerning the safety of silicone gel-filled breast implants, the
Food & Drug Administration has mandated that, apart from a few exceptions, breast
implants must be exclusively saline-filled. If you already have silicone gel-filled breast
implants, you may choose to have them removed or replaced.
Breast
Lift
Pregnancy, nursing, and simple gravity take their toll on your breasts. As your skin loses
its elasticity, your breasts lose their firmness and shape and begin to sag. A breast
lift, or mastoplexy, can surgically raise and reshape drooping or sagging breasts. The
procedure can be performed alone or in conjunction with breast augmentation.
Breast Reconstruction
If your breast has been removed due to cancer or other disease, recent advances in medical
techniques will now allow us to create a breast that closely simulates the form and
appearance of a natural breast. if you are about to have your breast surgery,
reconstruction is sometimes possible immediately after a mastectomy, so that you wake up
with a reconstructed breast already in place. Dr. Ettinger can discuss various surgical
options with you, including free-flap breast reconstruction, and TRAM-flap breast
reconstruction.
Breast Reduction
If you have large or pendulous breasts, breast reduction surgery can remove fat, glandular
tissue, and skin from them. This procedure will make your breasts lighter, smaller, and
firmer, and decrease associated back pain, neck pain, skeletal deformities, breathing
problems and skin irritation. It can also reduce the area of the darker skin surrounding
the nipple.
